Hannah McIntyre was born and raised in Germany, but she has strong ties to the US through her family which she visits at least once a year in Alaska. Spending her summers hiking, playing with huskies and discovering the Alaskan wilderness has influenced her curiosity for nature and conservation.
In 2020 she received her B.Sc. in Biology from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany and is currently working on her M.Sc. in Ecology and Evolution at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. During her studies she found great interest in movement ecology. She joined our team in 2022 as an intern to gain hands-on experience with handling large datasets and to get a unique insight in current research on the field.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training and competing with her horses, and going on adventures in the German forests and mountains with her dogs.
